David Jian

David joined Keypoint International as a partner in September 2024, following an initial period with the firm from 2014 to 2016, then senior international roles at PwC and Deloitte, as well as Managing Director of an international group generating €150M in revenue. A chartered accountant and Canadian CPA, he combines strong technical expertise with extensive management experience gained across Asia, the Americas and Europe.

Benjamin Chemoul

A chartered accountant with a US MBA specialising in US GAAP, Benjamin joined the firm in 2014 and was appointed partner in 2021, after building solid international experience at EY, Baker Tilly and RSM. He supports international clients, notably from the Netherlands, Sweden, Germany and Italy, in setting up in France and securing R&D incentives such as the CIR, the CII and JEI status.

Valérie has been a partner at Keypoint International since 2003 and holds deep expertise in accounting, statutory audit, tax, payroll, law, IFRS consolidation and performance reporting. With a background in international audit firms, she serves a predominantly international client base, working in particular on project management, organisational advisory and business development.

Frequently asked questions

Is Keypoint International registered with the Ordre des Experts-Comptables?

Yes. We are registered with the French Institute of Chartered Accountants (ODEC), which is required to practise accounting in France.

Are you also registered as statutory auditors with the CNCC?

Yes. We are also registered with the CNCC, which authorises us to carry out statutory audit engagements.

What is your relationship to VM International Audit & Consulting?

VM International Audit & Consulting was the firm's name until it rebranded as Keypoint International. Same team, same practice, under a new name.

What share of your clients are foreign-owned, and from which countries?

More than 90% of our clients are subsidiaries or branches of foreign groups operating in France, coming from a broad range of countries across five continents. We have a particularly notable number of clients from the United States, Canada, Sweden, the Netherlands, Korea, Japan, Mexico and the United Kingdom.

Which sectors do you have the most experience in?

We have particular experience in sectors that draw international groups to France, alongside our general practice covering companies from all fields.

Who will be our day-to-day contact, and who backs them up?

You have a dedicated day-to-day contact who works on your file, backed up by the rest of the team for specialised questions and by one of the partners directly for quality control. That way, continuity and quality control never depend on one person, while you still get speed and efficiency.

How do you protect our data, and where is it hosted?

We handle your data under the confidentiality obligations that apply to a regulated accounting and audit firm, and our systems comply with French and EU data-protection rules, including GDPR. Your data is stored on servers based in France.

How are your fees structured?

Fees are quoted per engagement, based on the scope of work and the time it requires. We agree the quote with you before starting any mission.
